‘Faith, Hope and Love... and the greatest of these is Love.’
Here we are and it is already the 12th day of February, 2022, the ‘love month.’ Time flies!
It has been two years since the pandemic started and we have had to dig deep and ‘draw on our reserves’ of faith, hope and love, to get us to this day.
Since we are close to Valentine’s day, I would like to focus on love and share excerpts from two of my poems, which relate to love.
My hope is that these poems will ignite/re-ignite those feelings of love and possibly, replenish your reserves, which may have been depleted, as a result of the uncertainties created by the pandemic. They could also provide a welcome distraction.
The first poem is ‘WINDOWS OF MY HEART.’
'WINDOWS OF MY HEART' is about the need for communication, especially when it relates to affairs of the heart. There are times when our actions will not necessarily be interpreted as we intended them to be. We will however not be aware of any misinterpretations, if we do not get any feedback.
The next poem is ‘LOVE IS IN THE AIR’ which is apt, since we are so close to Valentine’s day.
'LOVE IS IN THE AIR' highlights some of the emotions, actions, thoughts etc which relate to love.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO YOU!
Since February is the ‘love month,’ there will still be several days left in the month, even after Valentine’s day is over. Please remember to also do something nice for yourself.
